SEATTLE: OUR 4-5 DAY GUIDE - PART III

DAY 3: CONT.

After going up to the observation deck at the Space Needle, we headed over to the Chihuly Glass and Garden Exhibition. Seriously not to be missed when you're in Seattle. Reminds me of the glass blowing tours I went to in Venice, Italy. The pictures seriously don't do it justice. Here are some pictures from the exhibit.

After walking around the Chihuly exhibition, we walked around Folklife Fest for a bit longer and then headed back to the hotel. After chilling at the hotel for a bit, we decided to head to the Seattle Great Wheel.

For dinner we ate a few pastries (?) from Piroshky Piroshky. ZOMG. Completely worth the wait. We actually waited in line twice (we went back the next day for more lol), each time was about 30 minutes and let me just say that Tony HATES waiting in line for food so that's how good this stuff was.

oops! forgot to take a picture before I took a huge bite lol
beef and cheese was the BOMB DOT COM!!

While walking back to our hotel, we stopped at Cupcake Royale to grab some dessert. They have some pretty interesting ice cream flavors. I'm not a big fan of cupcakes so I opted for the ice cream. They were ok. I'm not the biggest sweets person and they didn't really have any flavors that stood out to me.

cupcake royale also has ice cream!

We were pretty beat after walking around Folklife Fest and the Seattle Center and then walking all the way past Pike Place Market to the Seattle Great Wheel so we called it a night. Whilst shopping for some cool souvenirs for our art wall, we came across this cubed shark. We just had to take him home with us lol.

And that's a wrap for day 3! Stay tuned for our last days in Seattle!

ALASKA: PART I

Ladies and gents, you're seeing it here first! Part 1 of our Alaska vacation! Enjoy! Happy Monday!

Sunday Sounds: Young The Giant

I'm no longer doing my Bonnaroo Sunday Sounds but I'm coming to you this weekend with this little gem. How did you come across this song, you say? Well, if you look at my Shazam log, I've Shazam-ed this song a total of 5 times since being back from Seattle. Today, after getting out of work, I get into the car and as soon as the radio comes on, I go to grab my phone. I immediately hit my Shazam button. Guess what song pops up... Young The Giant - It's About Time. So ok... I'm officially obsessed with this song. Check it out and maybe you'll join my repeat-1 support group.
