november: week 1 & 2

Since November started on a Tuesday, I'm going to talk a little about the happenings of Oct 31st... Halloween. Halloween is my least favorite holiday. I've never liked dressing up so I was always at home passing out candy. This year however, I had a great time catching up with a dear friend instead! I worked in the morning until 4:30pm and then had dinner with Cat at Hakata Ramen Shin-Sen-Gumi. I seriously don't know what the fuss is about this place. The ramen is good but seriously not THAT good for there to be a line outside on a fricken Monday! AND it was quite expensive... (well now that I think about it, it wasn't as expensive as I thought being that we ordered gyoza (which were TINY) and we also ordered dessert)! I still think Foo Foo Tei is the best but at least they had creme brulee! Here's some food porn.

Tuesday and Wednesday were a blur at work. Drove down to San Diego on Nov. 3rd. We met up with some of Tony's friends at The Tractor Room and it turned out to be a pretty good/bad night lol depending on how you see it. Thank goodness both me and Tony had the day off on Friday. We grabbed Chinese food at a place near his house and then headed to the North County Mall. I wanted to check out some of the other stores there because I always just go to Forever 21. I ended up purchasing a super cute poodle sweater and another sweater since it's been getting pretty cold in LA. The other pharmacist I work with always makes fun of me for being such a chicken about the weather since I come into the pharmacy with a scarf everyday lol. After some retail therapy, it was time to grab some grub. We hung out at Kappa Sushi for the rest of the night and had a really great time.

On Saturday we had Popeye's with his parents and then it was time for me to head back to LA for my cousin's son, Austin's, 1 month birthday celebration. I had a great time celebrating with family and Austin is sooo adorable! I didn't get any pictures that night except one with my cousin (I sported my new Lunar Blue Necklace :D).

On Sunday, November 6th, I went to get dim sum in Diamond Bar with some of the LKS girls who were in SoCal for the convention and just here for rotations. After dim sum I went to check out the Forever 21 jewelry sale. I bought quite a few items and I'll show those purchases in another post.

I had a dinner date with one of my oldest friends, Christina at Foo Foo Tei to celebrate my birthday and it was absolutely delicious! We got to catch up and it's just so great to just sit and chat about how our lives have changed. Last year we were both single and decided to make a small road trip to San Diego to have some quality girl time with each other and now so many things have changed. So recently I was looking through my Facebook Newsfeeds and someone posted a picture of their kid sending a letter to Santa at Macy's for their Make-A-Wish Foundation "Believe" holiday campaign which reminded me of a little story from me and Christina's trip to San Diego. So last year I was at the Macy's in Horton Plaza in San Diego and I saw one of those mailboxes to Santa. I saw that for each letter dropped into Macy's Santa Letterbox, Macy's would make a $1donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for up to $1 million dollars and I thought, what the heck, I'll make a wish lol. So I wrote to Santa that for Christmas I wanted a boyfriend lol. It was seriously a joke but whadya know, it came true ;). So if you want to do a good deed and possibly have your Christmas wish come true, then maybe head over to your closest Macy's and see what the future might bring? :)

Monday was supposed to be my day off but I got called in to work at the 24 hour store. Cleaned my room like a crazy woman on Tuesday. I had a bunch of carpet stains I've been wanting to clean since I've moved back home (yes I realize that was over a year ago lol) and I finally bought this "Spot Shot" thing from Target and it works AMAZINGLY!! My carpet is now stain free! yay! I would highly recommend this for all kinds of stains.

On Wednesday the 9th I had a date with the bestie! I've been trying to curl my hair and Judy got the new curling wand so I decided to give it a try to see if I should get my own. It worked great so later that day we went to Target and made a killing! I now have my own Remington curling wand! It's what I used to curl my hair for my birthday brunch (pictures and post to come).

I had work on Thursday and Friday and then I got to see my boo after work! It was the start of my birthday weekend which deserves its own post :).

Love you all for reading! :)
Hope you're having a great Tuesday!
May you all have a great rest of the week!

october: week 3 & 4

Howdies errrbuddy!

I was looking through what I did in October's week 3 and week 4 and realized that I didn't really do much in week 3 (besides work) so I will just combine the two posts together.

Third week of October (16th thru the 22nd) was pretty uneventful. I worked from Sunday to Wednesday, had Thursday off and then worked on Friday and had Saturday off. I spent most of Thursday cleaning up my room and reorganizing my jewelry because I recently joined Jewelmint so I will definitely try to do a post on how I organize all my makeup and jewelry.

On Saturday the 22nd, it was my mom's birthday so we went out for dim sum and then I drove down to San Diego for Tony's cousin's birthday party. Seriously though Filipino people have serious crazy nice ass parties! Princess Jasmine was at this little girl's party!! Can I be a little girl again and have Belle from Beauty and the Beast come to my birthday please?! lol. Totally not bitter or j. Here's a picture of Princess Jasmine.

Didn't do much that weekend. I didn't have to work until Wednesday so I stayed in San Diego for a bit longer. On Sunday we just watched the Charger game, went to eat at Happy Sushi, and then went to Target to walk off our meal and then we had dinner with his parents at Filippi's, this Italian restaurant. Tony had work the next day and I was supposed to go home on Monday too so we just knocked out for the rest of the night.

On Monday, the 24th, as you probably know from my previous post, it was the 1 year anniversary of the first day I ever met Tony. So when I woke up, Tony was already at work and so I had breakfast with his mom. We were just talking about random stuff and somehow we got to talking about how it was 1 year ago that I met Tony and she said "You should totally surprise him by staying until after he gets home!" So I ended staying until he got home. It was so funny because when I surprised him, he looked soooooo surprised. We had talked on the phone earlier and he was like "How was the drive home?" and I kept having to lie which was so hard! I thought he could totally hear it in my voice haha. After Tony got home from work we went to one of my favorite places in San Diego... Miami Grille! I had one of their "chop chops" which was delicious! After dinner it was time for me to leave San Diego and drive back to LA :(.

On Tuesday, the 25th, I went shopping for more materials for my Halloween costume. Ended up having a super good date with my friend Christina. Always great catching up with old friends. She's like a sister to me and whenever we get together, we always have these deep conversations about life and it's really refreshing to be able to talk about stuff beyond the superficial small talk.

Wednesday the 26th marked the first of my 8 days of working in a row. I've been so spoiled because I've only been working 2 or 3 days in a row and then I'd have 2 or 3 days off that 8 days in a row was total killer! It didn't help that I had some horrible customers. I seriously wonder how these people were raised to be so rude! This customer made me cry on Sunday and I felt like the only reason why I got so emotional was because I was actually trying to help her out and do everything I could but she just wouldn't stop screaming! She was making such a scene and you could see the other customers getting uncomfortable. There are customers that make a scene and you can see the other people siding with the customer but you could totally tell everyone was just like making the "WOW" O_O eyes. Thank goodness the other patients were very patient until I could get that other patient out of there. All the rest of the days weren't too bad because there was a light at the end of the tunnel!! lol.

On Oct. 29th, I had work during the day and then at night, I went to Nam's house for his Halloween party. I believe this was the first one I actually got a chance to go to because last year I celebrated Halloween in Norcal and the previous years I was always in Stockton. Anywhos, here are some pictures from the Halloween party.

And that concludes October! Seriously all I can think about after October is Christmas (and my birthday of course teehee!)!! Hope ya'lls are having a good week so far! I got called in to work at the 24 hour store today so I didn't end up having my 7 days off after all. I still have 2 days off for tomorrow (or "today" since it's after midnight)and Wednesday so yay! I have to mail out some stuff tomorrow and tons of cleaning/laundry to do :/. Maybe it's an Asian thing but I feel the need to clean right before my birthday so that everything is nice and clean on my birthday. It's the same mentality as Chinese New Year where you have to majorly clean before and then you can't do any cleaning during 'cause that just means you'll be cleaning all year long (whatever you do on New Years means you'll be doing that all year).

love & miss ya'lls!

october jewelmint purchases

So I don't know if I mentioned it before but after watching TONS of videos on YouTube about Jewelmint, I decided to finally give in when they had their 60% off your first purchase sale and bought my first Jewelmint piece. I've been super obsessed since. If you're on the fence about Jewelmint, I suggest waiting until they have a really good deal for new members. If you decide that it's not for you, you can always "Skip" the month and not pay $29.99 for that month. Here are some videos from one of my favorite YouTubers, Holly, on Jewelmint. Watching her videos and seeing how nice the jewelry looked on her seriously convinced me to join lol. Please subscribe to her if you like fashion, make-up and jewelry! I always love watching her videos. Some of them are like 20 minutes but I seriously don't even notice! Most of my beauty purchases are influenced by her reviews and I've also tried out a lot of her tutorials and I've gotten quite a few compliments on my eye make up lately :) so definitely check her out.

[Intro to Jewelmint][May][June][July][August][September][October]

I was originally going to post my October Week 3 and Week 4 updates first but per a special request, I will post my October Jewelmint purchases first :). Gotta give the people what they want lol.

So most of my Jewelmint purchases have come in this black bubble packer.

Inside of the bubble wrap is this minty green box :) I've gotten a box that was a little dented though.
I blame it more on the mailman than the Jewelmint people :).

So my first purchase through Jewelmint was the Here to Eternity Set.

Each piece also comes with a little description.

I purchased this on Oct, 10th and I received it on the 15th so it's fairly fast. I do live in California and it looks like everything is based out of Los Angeles so I might be getting things a little bit quicker than most. I really like this piece because it was something I could wear everyday and I pretty much wore it everyday after I got it. The only problem was the tangling of the piece when I wasn't wearing it. Other than that, I didn't really have any problems with it. I believe this is Sold Out right now but I heard they actually brought this piece back so I'm sure we'll see it again but yeah... it's no longer in my Showroom (even if you purchased something, it'll still show up in your Showroom). So there are usually a lot of deals for those looking to make a purchase that first time. The best deal I've seen so far is 70% off. I purchased the Here to Eternity Set for 60% off so final cost was $11.99 with no tax or shipping. To me that is a total deal considering it came with earrings too (the two heart studs).

**Note: one of my friends, Samantha, told me about this site Jewels and Mints and they have tons of deals posted on there daily so I would also check this site out first before you make any purchases. The site is useful because they will tell you if the coupon code works for New Members AND Existing Members.**

So after my first purchase, I checked the site religiously for new pieces in my Showroom and in the "Show Me More" section. Randomly, new pieces will appear so I checked daily. I was kind of just exploring the site when I noticed the "Our Designs" link and after clicking on that, I found that the Lunar Blue Necklace was on there! It didn't show up in my Showroom and I really liked that piece from Holly's video so I bought that one immediately. Of course I went to check if there were any coupons online and I found a coupon for 25% off on Retailmenot.com so that one ended up costing $22.49.

So I really like the Lunar Blue Necklace because it definitely feels like a real statement piece. I bought it because I felt the piece was really unique and also something that people who knew Jewelmint could easily distinguish as a Jewelmint piece. Besides branding, I also liked the turquoise coloring which I feel is extremely flattering for Asians in general and the chunky silver chain definitely makes it feel a bit more casual and ok for everyday. For me, I've been wearing this with a lot of the crew neck or boatneck sweaters/tees because it draws the attention downwards and lengthens my upper body. I have pretty broad shoulders and the crew neck and boatneck sweaters can really make my shoulders look even broader. I really have no idea if it scientifically distracts from my broad shoulders but I feel like it does lol. I've paired it with a light grey shirt and also a black shirt and it really makes the outfit pop. Definitely increasing the style factor of any outfit. I purchased this on Oct. 22nd and got it on the 28th so again, pretty fast considering the 22nd was a Saturday.

So during the end of October, they came out with a promotion for their jewelry box, Adornmint and it was buy 3 pieces of jewelry and get the Adornmint Jewelry Box for free so being the deal seeker that I am, I had to jump on that :). So here's what the Adornmint Jewelry Box looks like.
So I bought the following pieces to get the jewelry box.

This is the Cosmic Fusion necklace and I really liked this piece because it felt really Egyptian to me and I seriously love all things Egyptian (I think I just loved learning about the pharaohs, all the drama back then, and the pyramids lol). Anyways, I bought this necklace because, again, I wanted something really unique. I almost regretted purchasing this necklace right after I bought it because I thought I'd never wear it. To my surprise, I wore it immediately when I got it in the mail. I was actually originally wearing the Lunar Blue Necklace and I was just trying this one on and it looked so much better with my outfit so I just left it on. I wish I had taken a picture of my outfit but unfortunately I don't have a tripod so it's hard to take pictures of myself without being in front of a mirror and then the image isn't the best quality either and the necklace is super far away sooooo... lol. The three items I ordered actually did not come in the minty green box to my surprise. It actually came in these little black pouches. I think they had a difficult time fitting the Adornmint box AND the other boxes (which I was a little disappointed with since it's like Tiffany's where you want to have that darn signature blue/green box lol). This piece didn't even come with a description(!) which was another bummer :/. OH! One thing I will mention though is that the links they used to attach those metal pieces to the chain is EXTREMELY bothersome!! I think I need to get a set of pliers to fix it so that it's not poking my skin. I think it would be fine with a sweater but then it might snag your sweater as well so, just FYI.

I also got 2 sets of rings because it's one of the few things I can actually wear at work without feeling super bothered. I also go the rings because there's 3 of them so I felt like it was more bang for your buck lol. The first set of rings was the Yves Rings Set. (I think that was a typo in my card? lol Not even sure haha.)

My third item to get the Adornmint box was the From The Heart Rings.

The weird thing about my Adornmint box was that it also came with this random bracelet. Not sure if it's a Jewelmint piece or just apart of the beads you get to personalize your box :/. It actually looked kind of like those bead jewelry things available at chinese supermarkets lol but prettier. Gotta love'em pearls!

This pretty much concludes my Jewelmint purchases for October. I did purchase a Bewitchmint Mystery Bag which was $29.99 for 2 items and I've already purchased 3 items from my November showroom but I will save that for my November Jewelmint post. I feel like they offer random discounts throughout the month so I'm holding out for a bigger discount on some of the other pieces. Hopefully I'll be able to get before they get sold out!

Hope everyone in LA is staying dry in this stormy weather... (*don't know why... there's no sun up in the sky... stormy weather...* [YouTube] throwback to Judy and our American Musical class!). October Week 3 and Week 4 updates are coming right up! Love and miss ya'lls that are far away! Hopefully I'll get to visit NorCal soon!

october - makeup haul

I feel like such a teen doing a makeup haul post but hey, I was a repressed Asian girl that didn't get to use any makeup in high school (except for formal occasions) and I didn't even start using makeup until maybe senior year in college (besides eyeliner which I don't know how I lived without for so long lol). According to my mom, make up was for grown ups... not kids (but then again, I'm always going to be a kid in my mom's eyes so I guess I should never wear makeup lol). Anyways, I purchased a lot of stuff in October so I'll go ahead and talk a little bit about that.

Anywhos, after eating at Extraordinary Desserts I wanted to make another visit to CVS (I know... I know... as if I don't spend enough time there as it is for work lol) to look for some drugstore makeup stuff. Maybe the whole makeup thing is hitting me 10 years later but I never used make-up in high school (and back then I had so much acne, even the best concealer could not hide the shinanigans growing on my face) and I've been trying to experiment with makeup lately. I think this recent spark in makeup started because of work. I seriously wear the same clothes every day! Like the same slacks, same shoes, swap out the shirt, hair up (because I can't stand it when my hair is all up in my face or tangled in a phone cord!), and no accessories. I used to wear studs to work but I'm on the phone soooooo much that it hurts my ear :/. Anyways, a lot of my technicians wear makeup and it looks really decent, not too clown-y so I wanted to give it a try.

Soooo, lol, went on quite the tangent there but I've wanted to try using some of the more natural looking eye shadows and what better way than to go NAKED lol. I keed, I keed. But when I went to ULTA earlier in the day, I did end up purchasing the Urban Decay NAKED palette. The colors are great but unfortunately you can have the best paint but if you have no technique, your painting will still look like a piece of shit. Got to practice, practice, practice. I also had a bunch of CVS ExtraBucks to spend so that's why we went to CVS. I ended up getting a bunch of stuff that Holly recommended in her videos (but seriously, watching her channel will make you want to shop until you drop so be warned!!!)

Here are the items I got (this is good so I can keep track haha):

Item: Maybelline Eyestudio Color Explosion Palette(?) lol in Caffeine Rush
Cost (at CVS): $10.79
Promotions: BOGO 50% off Maybelline products
Thoughts: I really like this palette for every day. I've been using it a lot on days I don't have to go to work. Don't want to look like a clown at work lol but I do use the bottom nude-ish color and the darker brown color in the "V" for a made-up look on days I go to work.

Item: Maybelline Stylish Smokes Quad in Natural Smokes
Cost (at CVS): $8.49 (got this for 4.24 since I bought the eyestudio palette)
Promotions: BOGO 50% off Maybelline Products
Thoughts: This one was highly recommended by Holly in one of her older videos and I like this one a lot as well. I don't really use that liner color though. Haven't really experimented enough with this quad yet because it has such dark colors. I really like the Color Explosion Palette more.

Item: Wet 'n Wild Eye Shadow Singles in Envy and Nutty
Cost (at Ulta): $1.99
Promotions: none
Thoughts: Haven't tried Nutty yet but I was using Envy and it looked super green on my eye :/. Not as nice as how it looked in Holly's tutorial. It was really funny because I was in the middle of trying out the Envy eyeshadow and decided to webcam with Tony and he was just like "Whoa what's going on with your eye?" lol.

Item: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Soft Nude
Cost (at CVS): $10.49 (got this for 50% off so paid $5.24)
Promotions: BOGO 50% off Revlon products
Thoughts: Maybe I'm just not used to the look of lipstick on my lips but this looked really chalky on me :/. I think my lips are way too dry and creased for lip sticks. I bought some Revlon lipglosses too (which I'll post later with my Sephora Friends & Family Haul) which I think look soooo much better on my lips.

Item: Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched and Pink Punch (?) lol
Cost (at CVS): $4.19 ($2.09 for the second) - I actually got them both for free because I had a $5 Beauty Club ExtraBucks and I have my employee discount as well.
Promotions: BOGO 50% off Maybelline Products
Thoughts: I really love this product!! I love how it makes my lips feel super moisturized as if I had just used chapstick. I use the Quenched one daily just because it's clear and I use it to moisturize my lips before putting something pigmented on it. Haven't used the Pink Punch one that often because it's quite pigmented and that dark of a pink doesn't look that great on my lips.

Item: Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in 006 Medium Beige
Cost (at CVS): $14.99
Promotions: BOGO 50% off Revlon cosmetics
Thoughts: Still in the process of trying this out. It hasn't even been a month so I don't feel like I've tried it for long enough yet. BUT I have been using this daily and it makes my skin look SUPER nice. I really like the dewier look and this product definitely gives that. My only problem with this product was that my skin broke out severely around the chin area and also in the area around my mouth. I'm not sure if this was due to the product or just that time of the month... hence, must try for a longer period of time lol. I also think it was due to the fact that I was using it as more of a concealer around my mouth because of all my scars there that made my skin break out (since it probably clogged all my pores :/). Will update in a month or so on how it's working out for me.

Item: Rimmel Natural Bronzer
Cost (at Ulta): $2.99 (sale) but I bought 2 other items and got this free.
Promotions: Buy 2 Rimmel Items Get One Item Free
Thoughts: It's really just a bronzer. Nothing too special. I feel like it might be too dark of a color for me or maybe I'm just using too much of it :/ lol.

Item: Urban Decay Naked Palette
Cost (at Ulta): $48 (also came with a mini Eyeshadow Primer) (just got a 20% off coupon from Ulta and Sephora Friends and Family... I should have waited to purchase this but oh well...)
Promotions: none... Although Urban Decay is having their Friends & Family sale for 20% off on their website (Code: FFHOLIDAY11) until 11/5/11 so it'd be a good time to buy as well.
Thoughts: Lots of great colors. I haven't gotten a chance to really experiment much with this palette but I definitely LOVE the eyeshadow primer!! This might sound like the dumbest thing on earth but I had no idea that putting on Eyeshadow primer prevents creasing!!! I was using eye shadow without the primer and I was like "why do I get a fricken line every time?!"... yup... such a nube :P

Item: Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black
Cost (at Target): $6.99 (plus dollar off coupon found in magazine)
Promotions: none
Thoughts: I've been using this eyeliner every day and I really like it. It's completely replaced my Almay eyeliner which says a lot because I've used Almay forever. The thing I hated about Almay was that it smudged like a mother so people would always tell me that my eyeliner was smudged. This one smudges a little but definitely stays in place better than Almay. I like my eyeliner super dark and this one is obviously very buildable.

Alright kiddies... I'm off to work. Day 8 of 8 baby! Finally! There IS a light at the end of the tunnel! I have the next 7 days off so be prepared for posts! posts! posts! posts posts posts! (if you couldn't tell that was to the rhythm of shots... yeah... I get pretty delirious sometimes lol)

october: week 2 - part tres

Wow so I realized that I completely forgot about my cool lunch on Saturday. Before we had dinner for my grandmother's birthday, we were at the Mission Viejo mall (the one with the huge Forever 21). While we were there, we decided to eat at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant. I've never been and as soon as we walked in, they asked if we were celebrating anything so I just said that we were celebrating my birthday (one month away but close enough right? lol). I would have seriously loved to have my birthday here as a kid! They make it such a huge deal! So when I said that it was my birthday I asked them if they were going to embarrass me or something and they were like "oh no.. if anything we embarrass ourselves" lol. So at the end of our meal, when they came over to sing happy birthday, they were like "oh we're going to make this a short birthday song". So what happened was that when they started singing, they all squatted so that they were "short" lol.

Also, I think this is seriously where they got the Carl's Jr "six-dollar burger" commercials from. You know the one's where they're like "Happy happy birthday, happy happy birthday" and making weird faces. Soo hilarious. Here are some pictures.

you know i can't resist a good burger!

Hope everyone is having a great week!! I'm working 8 days straight which is fricken fantastic lol.

october 24th, 2011

Today is actually a really special day. A year ago today was the day that I met Tony for the first time. We met up at the Phantom of the Opera showing at the Pantages and although it wasn’t really a blind date, it was somewhat of a setup but not really. Mostly just a chance for us to meet each other with a whole bunch of other people so that it wouldn't be so much of a setup. I was dating at the time but it was one of those situations where I wanted it to be going somewhere and it was really going nowhere. My options were definitely open at that point. All of my friends were in stable relationships at that time and being the only single one was getting to be a little depressing although looking back I did enjoy the spontaneity of not having any plans (even though I love planning things, it’s nice to be able to anything at the spur of the moment… mostly because you don’t have anything else going on… hmmm I sound a little loser-ish there lol). Anywhos, the first time we met I didn’t really think anything of it. I didn’t really think he was my type and I remember telling Judy on our car ride to Disneyland that night after eating at Road to Seoul that he seemed a bit too quiet/conservative for me. Little did I know that 2 months later, we would meet again and things would be so different. I guess they were right about not judging a book by it’s cover! We're still in the early stages of our relationship but I've been having such an amazing time and I'm so thankful everyday. It definitely takes meeting someone who is completely amaze-balls that makes all that heartbreak and turmoil worth it. It's like in the movie "17 again" where you get another chance to do everything over again and you still choose the same path because if you chose some other path, it might not lead you to where you are. I hope there are many more memories to come :)

october: week 2 - part 2

october: week 2 - part 2
[week 2 - part 1]

The last post was a tad long and overwhelming (plus I got tired of writing lol) so I decided to break it up into 2 different posts.

So it looks like I last talked about the amazing desserts at Extraordinary Desserts (and I forgot to mention, yes those are fricken gold flakes on those desserts! I was telling Tony how if I was super poor, I could go around and ask everyone to donate their gold flakes to me with my Charles Dickens, "Please sir, I want some more" bit lol).

The next day Tony got up at the break of dawn to take his friend to the airport (while I stayed in bed, teehee lol).  We got up early to get ourselves some Chick-fil-a and took it back to the house to eat. After that it was time to get ready to go back to LA for my grandma's 92nd birthday party. We stopped at this mall in Mission Viejo to go to the Microsoft Store since Tony had a Groupon and he wanted to get his racing game. I couldn't resist going into their Forever21 which was HUGE. It seriously rivals the Vegas F21 and that's saying a lot. It's 2 stories and everything was extremely neat, especially for a Saturday. I definitely must go back on my next trip either to San Diego or coming back from San Diego.

Anywhos, here's some pictures from my grandma's birthday dinner.

To end the weekend, I had to work on Sunday but thank goodness I was working at one of my favorite stores. Love the staff there so it made my Sunday more enjoyable.

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!! I've got a full day of cleaning ahead, trying to purge my pharmacy school notes, new post on my recent makeup haul and also birthday lunch with the momma. Going to see a taping of "The Voice" with the bestie next week which should be super fun! We haven't been to taping since the good ole days of American Idol (first and 2nd season, I believe) so I'll have pictures from that next week. Hope ya'lls have a great weekend if I don't speak to ya'll before then!!
